Whitman, MA 02382 781-447-0421 CUSTOMER LIASON/PRODUCTION COORDINATOR POSITION DETAILS Principal Activities Maintain & satisfy current customer orders using our ERP (Estitrack) system.
Oversee shipping and accounting methodoligies Ability to present a professional response to the customer using both telephone and computer correspondence.
Assist in achieving our goal of 100% customer satisfaction.
Plan, prepare and control production schedules and coordinate with material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved material times to meet production requirements.
Determine material requirements for engineering and production schedules.
Coordinate the efficient movement of materials with purchasing and production.
Responsible for scheduling, requisitioning and monitoring the movement of material through the production facility and will work on a wide variety of complex planning activities where material requirements are new or variable.
Advise management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems.
Identify areas of improvement for planning in the ERP/MRP system Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within Work orders.
Plan and schedule project timeliness and coordinate outside vendors.
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Knowledge Skills & Abilities Excellent communication skills w/ history of customer service.
Advanced spreadsheet and numerical analysis skills Ability to exercise tact and good interpersonal skills Time management skills Analytical skills Problem solving skills Ability to be pro-active with a sense of urgency Be a self-starter, a highly motivated person able to work in a fast paced environment that is continually changing Experience coordinating many small projects/activities at one time Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook Education & Experience Minimum of 3 years of customer service & planning experience within a manufacturing company, Must have experience working within a manufacturing environment using MRP/ERP systems Proven ability of handling all customer requests in a timely manner.
